Life Before Damaged Vol 1.

by H.M. Ward
Rating: 5/5

Well I may be a little biased since Peter was the first Ferro I was introduced to, but I love him and his story! He's the full package and his story is so real and heart felt. I mean, the man lives the poetry he speaks, who wouldn't love that? This series depicts his life before Damaged 1 and 2. He finds journals kept by Gina and gives them to Sidney to read and she finds all sorts of things out about his juicy and sorrowful past. Gina is sweet and very innocent. It will be interesting to see how Peter ends up effecting her life and how the impact of them and their story leads to his damaged life later on. For some reason I thought she'd be easy to dislike but I actually enjoy her thoughts quite a bit and will probably be really devastated when the end comes about. I can't wait to read more!

Volume 2
Good Read! This one started out a little slow for me but at the same time it was kind of nice to get a peek into Gina's life. But a few chapters later and the ball starts rolling. The dancing...ah the dancing is just amazing. There's something about it, especially when it involves a soft wall that smells delicious (Peter.) I know that I'd let some handsy dude smash my face into that any day! Anyway, this is an exciting new series and I can't wait to read more about the life these two shared. Thanks for another great series HM Ward!

Volume 3
My favorite one so far! Got to love Pete Ferro and he shows his face quite a bit in this one. The dancing is...wow. Yep, that good. I love the scene at the party between Gina and Mrs. Ferro, fantastic drama there. And when Pete shows...I could just melt at the words that fly out of that charming mouth of his. Great addition to the series and can't wait for the next!

Volume 4
Love this one!
I think I say best one yet on every one of these....hmmm. Well I mean it...again! (Broken record, I know.) They just keep getting better. All the sexy Ferro flirting and teasing, the dancing...it's just amazingly sexy. And Mrs. Ferro comes into the picture more. I feel a twist coming up there, it seems those Ferro's are always up to something. I'm SO glad Gina is finally done with Anthony. It was so obvious that dude was screwing around. And the visual from that encounter...ah man I was dying laughing before Gina's sorrow kicked in. And there's no better way to get over a winner like that one than with Pete Ferro...on the dance floor. Whew! Can't wait for the next one!!!!

Volume 5!!!!!
OH. MY. GOD.
Holly, you are amazing!
Absolutely brilliant plot twist! I only give five stars to books that are good enough to read again, and I would read this installment of Life Before Damaged again, and again, and again. I feel like we've been waiting for this huge falling out and it finally happened, it's so exciting!
Peter and his lack of self control got him on Gina's bad side in the end, but I suspect it's temporary. Come on, no one could ignore that man for long. He's in there Gina (or should I say Jenny...), you can bring him out!! I love how Gina's witty, confident side is finally showing itself. It's great getting to see her grow through these books and help Pete along the way. My favorite quote from her in this one was "Go cough up a furball." LOL!

Oh man, Anythony, see ya loser! I have to say her parents reaction to the whole Anthony situation was so typically expected, especially with how her dad has treated her in the past. No respect at all. He should embrace his daughters talents and brains instead of making her into a trophy wife for a complete loser. Oh well, he got his handed to him by Mrs. Ferro herself, HA! Love that women! Oh god, isn't she just perfect in her own screwed up way? And I'll leave you with a perfect last line from this amazing book: "Welcome to the family, dear." And it begins...!!

The Arrangement: The Ferro Family

By: H.M. Ward
Overall Rating: Great Read

A little about this series:
This is a serial (series of short books) that's fan driven. So Holly will keep writing this story as long as people (like me) beg for it. I have to say I'd like it to end eventually, which I'm sure it undoubtedly will, but right now it's fun to get little installments of a story here and there to make life more exciting.
In this series you get introduced to the Ferro family but more specifically Sean Ferro. He's all kinds of messed up and so is pretty little Avery who's just trying to make ends meet and deal with her past as well. You get to follow them and their steamy story through a whole lot of ups and downs and holy crap did that just happens. It's exciting and fun to read and trust me, you'll start to crave the next installment.

*Update for AR 17!
To be released any day now...
Wow, just...wow! This was a great addition to the series. Of course we've all been bouncing around, hardly able to wait and see what happens after the whirlwind AR 16 left us in, and I can say that you won't be let down. Although this series is a little long, it's also kind of great for those of us with Sean/Ferro addictions. The story is spicing up more than ever and it'll be fun to see who wins this one. ;) Can't say more...he he
At first I thought it was all going play out as one would expect but I was wrong, and I'm so glad I was! Some ends are tied up and fresh worm cans are opened....it's fantastic!
It's so hard to leave a review without spoilers but seriously, it's a great read. Get it, feed your addiction, and then wait as impatiently as possible (along with me) for the next one. Enjoy!

AR 18
Finally! Sean gets out of his whirlwind of fear and gives us what we've all been waiting for! This installment is exciting to say the least. Sean and Avery's relationship changes and new plot twists emerge as previous ones are tied up. This is the book that takes away all the frustration we've been feeling with Sean and will make you want to jump up and down and squeal ;) The end was a little shocking and I can hardly wait to see what happens there. Although Constance can be a huge pain, I kind of grew to like the witch herself in Life Before Damaged. It's nerve wracking waiting to see what happens.
