The Fault in Our Stars

by John Green

Rating: 5/5

Such a great read! John Green has a way of capturing the reader and making you feel like you're right there with the characters and experiencing everything with them. He also introduces different theories and concepts throughout his books, especially this one, that make you rethink the world around you.

This is a story about a girl named Hazel who has cancer, her journey, how she views the cancer and her life. She meets a boy named Augustus at support group who tells her how special she is. They go through what little life they have together and he makes her greatest wish come true. It doesn't turn out how they expect but only to find a deeper truth to the author she seeks out, one she can relate to. The characters are witty and have interesting views on life and death, making you consider your own. Throughout this story, as you witness their experiences, you'll laugh and cry and feel the depth of the characters importance to each other. I guarantee you will be moved and go back to read this book again and again.
Read it!
